We had a really great session the other evening with Emma Fletcher from Heating Swaffham Prior and Chris Coe from Heat Upper Heyford, hearing all about the stages and process behind the realisation of a community heat network.
A recording of the session is available here:
Congratulations to both communities for the immense amount of work they have put into the projects, and here’s to a greater understanding of what part of local responses to net zero these systems can play. In West Oxford, we will continue to explore feasability of realising something similar for our local area – and if you’d like to know more / get involved, we hope to host an event on this, and household heat pumps, in the not-too-distant future.
