An experiential participatory workshop drawing on ‘The Work that Reconnects’ from the work of Joanna Macy, John Seed, et al. See https://workthatreconnects.org/history-of-the-work/ for background to the approach. Led by Rowan Tilly and Jo Hamilton.
We and others in our groups are likely to be feeling a whole range of emotions in response to climate change, and what action to take. This workshop will give you the time and space to turning towards our feelings about the Climate Emergency, to acknowledge and reflect on these emotions. We will reconnect with our hearts, experiencing our radical interconnectedness and drawing inspiration to take action with resources for the long haul.
An opportunity to take part in practices which deepen our connections with ourselves, each other and with life. It offers a creative and profound approach to help strengthen our capacity to feel and act.
We aim to create a safe space and ask each participant to be responsible for their own emotional well-being.
This workshop is not appropriate for children.
