Low Carbon Hub
LCWO’s Mim will be speaking at this week’s Low Carbon Hub Community Coffee Morning from 11-12.30. The session this week will be focussing on community engagement, including ways to reach out to younger people in your community and how to get the most out of social media.
Participants will hear from community groups on successful community engagement and/or social media projects, including:
- Mim Saxl from Low Carbon West Oxford will introduce the KidsCAN
- Eleanor Watts from Rose Hill and Iffley Low Carbon will discuss ideas on how to involve young people outside of the “‘green bubble’
- Emma Arnold from Westmill Education Trust will share their educational work with children and young adults.
We’ll then break off to discuss thoughts and ideas in smaller groups, before returning to share with the wider group.
