Be part of it! Creating a “One Planet Oxfordshire” @ Environmental Change Institute

Come and find out about the new One Planet Oxfordshire initiative.

“Helping Oxfordshire move towards a greener and healthier future where everyone enjoys a good quality of life”

This event will cover the background to the initiative and introduce some of the key partners and stakeholders already involved.

Bioregional is leading an international ‘One Planet Cities’ project, funded by the KR Foundation. Bringing together councils, organisations, businesses, schools and community groups in four city regions, in Canada, South Africa, Denmark and the UK to help make better places to live.

Working together in each city region, these organisations will co-create locally owned sustainability action plans that present a route to a sustainable future.  Bioregional’s One Planet Living framework will be used to structure the plans. These ten simple principles – from health and happiness and sustainable food to zero carbon energy – provide a common language to talk about sustainability and to drive change.

Oxfordshire County Council, working alongside Bioregional Oxfordshire are inviting partners across the county to come together to create a ‘One Planet’ action plan.

This event is one of Mim’s top picks for Oxford Green Week 2018!
