This Thursday, we have the pleasure of hosting Emma Fletcher, who has established and led the realisation of UK’s first fossil fuel-free district heating scheme in her village, Swaffham Prior, Heating Swaffham Prior.  We will also be joined by Chris Coe from Heat Upper Heyford to hear about the Oxfordshire scheme, which though based on the Swaffham Prior principles and design, is different in some ways, and being developed in a different funding environment.

LCWO members are keen to explore the replicability and/or feasability of a heat network as part of the West Oxford net zero picture, and we welcome others who would like to hear about the schemes and learn from others making these ideas a reality.
