About this Event
Objectives of the evening
- To understand the impacts of Connecting Oxford on different road users.
- To develop our response to Connecting Oxford and inform coalition member responses.

Up to 100 members and supporters of the CoHSAT partner organisations
Programme
19:00 – Welcome and introductions, purpose of the evening (AH, BB)
19:05 – Keynote speaker (TBC)
19:20 – Presentation from Oxfordshire County Council on the proposals with Q&A (Stewart Wilson, Jo Fellows)
19:40 – Table discussion with 15 people per table, focus of tables and questions still to be developed (see below for initial ideas)
20:30 – Feedback – what are our asks? How feedback given to be determined
20:45 – Perspectives from the City Council (Cllr Alex Hollingsworth)
20:55 – Next steps in responding
21:00 – Finish

- Impact on walking;
- Impact on cycling;
- Impact on bus use;
- Impact on car use.
- Consideration of this could be the immediate impact in the centre and in the Eastern arc,
- What is needed in the medium and longer term to maximise the impact?

The Coalition of Healthy Streets and Active Travel (CoHSAT) is a group of 10 voluntary and campaigning organisations, striving for efficient, active, low carbon and sustainable travel across Oxfordshire.
